Mary J. Blige Concert Set

Ocean's 11 Animation Sequence
"We used form•Z to previsualize architectural elements in many exterior shots as well as in the famous Bellagio fly through. We (I should say me plus three CG artists working under my direction) used form•Z to model the Bellagio hotel interior and exterior as well as several sets created by the film's production designer. We also did pre vis on the electromagnetic bomb prop that knocks out the city power grid. The other sets included the casino 'back office' sets which included a high tech elevator shaft and a complex underground cash vault/counting center."

"We competed with two other major LA visual effects facilities for this project. Production Designer Phil Messina said he chose Troxtel Design because we proposed to use the actual form•Z interface within which we would play our animations. Phil said that the high tech form•Z interface provided the most realistic look for the sequence. In the end, we used form•Z to create over 1.5 minutes of animation that was used in the film."
