Our privacy policy

AutoDesSys, Inc. is posting this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. This site exists in order to disseminate and publish information about our products and inform our visitors about what they may be able to do with our digital tools. Any information we may collect about the visitors of our site is used exclusively for that purpose and we do not sell or share the information with commercial and noncommercial entities whose products and or goals do not relate directly with our products. In specific terms, the following are disclosures of what type of information we collect and how we use it.

If you visit our site to browse, or to read or download information like product descriptions or press releases:

We collect and store: the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet (for example, aol.com or princeton.edu); the referrer, when a visitor reaches our site form another site; the Internet protocol (IP) address of the computer you are using; the browser software you use and your operating system; the date and time you access our site; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to our site.

We use this information to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful. Generally, we delete this information after one year.

If you visit our site and participate in our forum:

To participate in the forum you need to register and declare a user name and password. You do this once and you can then participate (read and write messages) in the forum as many times as you wish.

We do nothing specific with the information you give us about yourself when you register. We simply keep it available to be able to reach you should the need arise, due to some irregularity that may be encountered in the forum.

Our forum may optionally use "cookies". A cookie is a small text file that a website can place on your computer's hard drive. The cookie transmits information back to the Web site's computer which, generally speaking, is the only computer that can read it. Our forum uses cookies only when a user selects the option to use cookies under edit profile/preferences.

If you visit our site and download one of our demos:

Before you can download a demo, you are asked to register. The information you provide when you register for downloads is used to calculate statistical distributions. It is also distributed to regional dealers and is tentatively entered in our database in order to be able to send you information about our products and share our news as they become available. Before making your name a permanent entry in our database, we send you a card to both confirm the validity of the address you entered and to verify your desire to remain in our database. If you do, you will be receiving information in the form of a newsletter or brochure a few times a year. You can ask us to remove your name from our database at any time.

If you register your license through our site:

This is an alternative to mailing in your registration card. What we do with the information you provide is the same in both cases. We use your mailing address to send you the free updates you are entitled to and inform you about future developments.
