AutoDesSys is pleased to announce the release of form•Z RenderZone and RadioZity 3.9. This new version offers three more export formats and enhances the parametric power added in form•Z 3.8:

ViewPoint VET: exporting to this popular 3D format will now facilitate sending form•Z models to the world wide web.

Shockwave: exporting to MacromediaÕs Director popular 3D format is intended to assist in involving form•Z models in interactive multimedia presentations.

Piranesi: exporting images for adding further rendering effects and for refining them with a variety of brush types that make them look like they were handpainted.

QuickTime VR 5.0 spherical panoramic movies: extending the types of QT movies previously available with QT's new spherical panorama.

Extract tool: retrieving the controls of parametric entities and turning them into independent objects. This is an ability to extract the new shapes of control lines after they are involved in the reshaping of the object they generate.

Displaying the facets of smooth objects: a new option for Quick Paint*, Hidden Line*, and Surface Render* to display smooth objects with facets, rather than their silhouettes only.

Nurbz by boundary: a new method for generating nurbz objects from two, three, or four boundary lines or splines. This is in addition to the previously available nurbz by lofting and nurbz from solid objects.

Editing that preserves nurbz controls:
a number of operations will now preserve the nurbz parameters, most notably trimmed nurbz can now be edited and reshaped without losing their controls.
